Neutone Morpho
Neutone
Neutone Morpho is a real-time tone-morphing plug-in that resynthesises input audio into the timbre of pre-trained machine-learning models while preserving the input's temporal shape. It offers Macro and Micro interaction modes over latent variables of an autoencoder, with on-platform custom model training via Neutone Cocoon, used in sound design, music production, and experimental performance.

History & Background
Developed by Neutone Inc., an international team based in Japan that began as an internal project of Tokyo AI creativity lab Qosmo in 2022 before spinning out as an independent company. Project leads Nao Tokui and Andrew Fyfe. Models are trained exclusively on rights-cleared audio, with sources cited in the plug-in's model browser. Used in workshops at CTM and MUTEK festivals.
