The Dolby Atmos Production Suite (DAPS) was a commercial software bundle for object-based Dolby Atmos mixing, mastering and monitoring, including the Dolby Atmos Renderer, Dolby Audio Bridge, and integration plug-ins for DAWs such as Pro Tools, Nuendo, Logic, Ableton Live, and Reaper. It supported authoring of ADM BWF master files for delivery to streaming and theatrical platforms, used in episodic TV, film pre-production, and immersive music mixing.
History & Background
Developed by Dolby Laboratories. Discontinued in March 2023, when DAPS and the Dolby Atmos Mastering Suite were consolidated into a single combined product, the Dolby Atmos Renderer, sold via the Avid store. Existing DAPS and DAMS users could upgrade to the unified Renderer for a one-time fee.
